The Area

Since 1988 Vinhal Farm has been producing very high quality coffees in the heart of Minas Gerais state, in Cerrado Mineiro Region - Brazil. The region is known for its distinct seasons - a hot, wet summer and a comfortably dry winter. Coffee is grown at elevations ranging from 800 to 1,300 meters, producing high-quality beans with distinctive character.

The Farm

Under Rafael Vinhal's leadership, Vinhal farm boasts numerous certifications reflecting their commitment to sustainability and quality. Upholding these standards involves meeting criteria in environmental conservation, ethical labor practices, and efficient management across the production chain. 

The Impact

One of Vinhal Farm’s main values are sustainability and quality. Their properties are certified by Rainforest Alliance (located in the USA), 4C Common Code of the Coffee Community (located in Germany)  and Certific Minas (run by the Minas Gerais state). 

To achieve and maintain these certifications they must comply with a series of standards relating to environmental conservation and sustainable production, as well as good social practices and working conditions and full compliance with current legislation.
