Introducing our newest Black Label release, an incredibly aromatic coffee from Chapadão Farm in Brazil.
History
Let's explore the captivating history of Nunes Coffee farms! It all began with Oscar Pereira Nunes, a true visionary and the patriarch of this remarkable family. Before becoming a dedicated coffee farmer, Osmar tended to herds of cattle. However, fate had something extraordinary in store for him. A spark ignited within his soul, and his passion for cultivating coffee plantations took hold.
In 1984, Osmar Junior, carrying the torch to his father's legacy, took a daring step. He planted a magnificent 10 hectares of Arabica coffee in the fertile soil of Cerrado Mineiro. Not only was he managing his father's cattle, but he was also investing in coffee and expanding their land holdings across the picturesque state of Minas Gerais. The Nunes family's commitment to agriculture and coffee cultivation knew no bounds!
The Farm
Fast forward to today and the third generation of the Nunes family proudly manage Chapadão Farm. Gabriel, the son of Osmar Junior is an agronomist, and earned their degree from the renowned University of Viçosa. He brings a wealth of knowledge and an export orientated vision to the family business. His dedication and passion shine through as he tends to the farm with meticulous care.
