Our coffee sourced from Menglian County in China is produced by a collection of over 50 local small holder farmers who bring their coffee for processing at
the Yun Tian washing station, where the coffee is sorted, washed and dried ready for export.

The mill follows Rainforest Alliance Certification practices and has implemented a sustainable management services team who work with the
local farmers on improving quality of coffee, production through sustainable environmental and social conditions, and promotion of agroforestry as a means to a stable climate and economic resilient livelihoods for the farmers.

With a long and famous history of tea production, China has been cultivating Arabica coffee since the 1900s in the Yunnan Province, especially in the mountainous region of Menglian. This region boarders with Myanmar, also well known for its premium coffee. At 800 to 1500 metres above sea level, Menglian shares similar geographical features and climate with the Colombian Andes Mountains. With a wide range of shade trees present, providing an abundant biodiversity, growing coffee in this region is ideal.

This coffee features tasting notes of pear, green peppercorn and malt, this coffee is a great choice for people seeking a versatile coffee to enjoy on their home espresso machine.
