China Yunnan Province Single Origin Coffee is sourced from the highland coffee-growing regions of Yunnan Province in southwestern China, where the mountainous terrain, rich soils and favourable climate create ideal conditions for producing distinctive tasting coffee.
This medium roast delivers an intense and satisfying flavour profile with rich chocolate notes, balanced sweetness and a smooth finish. Its full flavour and depth make it an excellent choice for milk-based coffee, where the rich chocolate and nutty characteristics pair beautifully with milk.
The beans are processed using the washed coffee process, where the coffee cherries are carefully harvested and the fruit is removed before the beans undergo controlled fermentation. They are then thoroughly washed to remove the remaining mucilage and dried to the desired moisture level. This process helps create a clean and consistent cup while allowing the coffee’s natural chocolate characteristics to shine through.
With its rich chocolate flavour and intense presence in the cup, China Yunnan Province Single Origin Coffee is particularly well suited to milk-based coffees. The bold flavour holds its character beautifully when combined with milk, creating a smooth, rich and satisfying cup.
