The Brazil Terra Nova (formerly known as Brazil Andira) is sourced from the Mantiqueira de Minas region of the Minas Gerais state of Brazil. At the forefront of the Terra Nova Farm is Augusto Borges Ferreira, a fourth-generation coffee grower. His grandparents (on both sides of the family) dedicated themselves to coffee cultivation, passing on passion and knowledge from generation to generation.
The Terra Nova Farm demonstrates a commitment to environmental stewardship through exemplary agricultural practices, including ecological mowing, soil management, and water reuse.
This coffee is naturally processed, using distinct preparation method where ripe cherries are dried with their pulp, allowing for natural fermentation. This process yields a rich flavour profile and a full-bodied texture, making it a favourite among those seeking bold and vibrant flavours.
Red and Yellow Catuai, hybrid coffee cultivars originating from Brazil, are prized for their resilience, productivity, and exceptional cup quality. Developed through crossing Mundo Novo and Caturra varieties, these compact plants thrive in diverse climates and exhibit excellent disease resistance.
This coffee has a deliciously nutty flavour - with tasting notes of butterscotch, cocoa, and Brazil nuts; this coffee pairs well with milk.
