Our coffee sourced through Cafe Pacas has come from different farms located across part of the Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain Range in western El Salvador.
This region is well known for its volcanic and fertile soils where the coffee plantations are cultivated under the shade of Incas and mountain trees. These coffee plantations are very well organised, and facilitate a diverse ecosystem of plants and animals that contribute to the well-being of the environment.
Cafe Pacas view innovation as a crucial component of making coffee more sustainable, and they strive to incorporate new technology into traditional working methods. Each year harvest takes place from October through to March and the coffee cherries are harvested by hand when they have reached optimum maturity.
This delightful single origin pairs well both with and without milk and offers a sweet and well-balanced espresso with tasting notes of Brazil nuts, cinnamon and Oreo cookie.
