At the age of 25, Inacio Carlos Urban arrived in Patos de Minas city in the Cerrado Mineiro region of Brazil with a dream to produce food on a large scale to feed the world. The business originally began only producing soybeans, however after 40 years of hard work Inacio has grown this business to specialise in the production, industrialisation and marketing of many agricultural products including coffee.
Farroupilha Farm is very proud about its evolution and the positive opportunities created in the agribusiness as an outcome of their efforts. Today, Farroupilha Farm works in developing responsible agriculture. They raise bulls to improve the herd, invest in technological and structural improvement for the evolution of agricultural production and produce crops including cotton, corn, tomato, wheat and coffee beans. A new chapter at Farroupilha Farm begins as their children, Erika Urban and Fernando Urban enter the business. They are starting a new story for their business, through the expansion of technology and market vision with product diversification.
We are proud to present our coffee sourced from Farroupilha Farm in Brazil. With tasting notes of fig, milk chocolate and vanilla this rich and flavoursome bean makes for an espresso that pairs well both with milk and without.
