This sweet and silky single origin has been sourced from the Santa Rita Coffee Estate in Nicaragua. This estate is owned by the families Alvarez & Pereira and is located in the municipality of Las Cuchillas in Jinotega.
Santa Rita Estate is committed to the sustainability of great coffee production, having dedicated 165 hectares to coffee cultivation. Renowned for producing high quality coffee, the farm has invested in advanced technologies and farming practices to improve the quality of the coffee grown there.
This coffee is a washed process which sees ripe coffee cherries being hand picked and taken to a wet mill to be pulped and washed. After this the coffee is dried for approximately one week and is then hulled and bagged for export.
With tasting notes of raisin, burnt caramel and chocolate frosting this coffee is perfect for those of you with a sweet tooth who want a smooth, chocolatey coffee to pair with milk.
